Advice, guidance and careers support
We are constantly developing our information and advice services, many of which are embedded in projects run by experienced staff and volunteers at the clubhouse, who have specialised knowledge and contacts. Our aim is to support people as much as possible through their journey with us and beyond. We do this through regularly asking for feedback on the nature of support people require, then designing projects that people can enjoy, whilst being educational and confidence building. The project workers and tutors are chosen not only for their general abilities to manage and teach but also for their attitude to engaging with the community, advising and signposting for the most positive outcomes. The National Careers Service is available to people when they first visit the clubhouse, and at any stage of their time with us, to compliment the advice and support they are given in the projects they are part of.
