An eleven minute train ride from Ipswich takes you to the beautiful English Countryside and a short walk takes you to a lovely place where you can take a boat trip or just enjoy nature. Lots of things for adults and children to do. Take a picnic or enjoy a drink and a snack in the café there. Visit the RSPB (bird activity centre) for lots of things for children to do. There are lots of activities over the Summer and some are completely free!

We recently took a day trip to Flatford Mill with a bus full of our learners and volunteers! We spent the day exploring the beautiful area, and learning about plants and foraging with Jon Tyler of Wild for Woods, including trying a refreshing tea Jon made from local flowers and herbs!
Thank you to the Suffolk & Essex Coast & Heaths National Landscape and The National Lottery Heritage Fund's Landscapes for All Fund for making this trip possible.
